ABOUT ME

I am a Socialist MEP and Professor at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Valencia. Professionally, I have dedicated myself to research applied to the development of European public policies, especially in the social and health area.

 

In my work in the European Parliament, I will use my experience in public policies to promote a Social Europe that protects people, and develop measures that improve the quality of life and society in general.

INTERGROUP

DISABILITY INTERGROUP 

The Disability Intergroup of the European Parliament is an informal grouping of Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from all nationalities and most political groups who are interested in promoting the disability policy in their work at the European Parliament as well as at the national level.

CHILDREN´S RIGHTS

It is a cross-party, cross-national group of committed MEPs, who will work together with child-focused organisations to keep children’s rights on top of the EU agenda. The aim of the Intergroup is to promote children’s rights and ensure that the best interest of the child is taken into account in EU internal and external action.


The MEP Alliance for Mental Health established in 2009 as the European Parliament Interest Group on Mental Health, Wellbeing and Brain Disorders) aims to bring together MEPs and relevant stakeholders advocate the development of sound EU policies which contribute to the prevention of mental ill health and ensure appropriate and high quality services and person-centred care, empowering those affected.

INTERGROUP TRADE UNIONS

This Intergroup, made up of MEPs from all Member States, and trade unions, aims at facilitating the debate between Members of the European Parliament and workers’ representatives throughout Europe, in order to promote a social Europe based on justice, the protection of workers’ right and the welfare of citizens.
