In the meeting of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs on 2 September, I defended some considerations of the Group of Socialists and Democrats of the European Parliament on the general budget of the European Union for the year 2021.

We believe that we must dedicate our best efforts and financial resources to protect and help the most vulnerable and affected by the pandemic.
